Within a few hours, Gary had e-mailed me a quote, offering a number of options regarding boilers, ancillary equipment and guarantees. The work was carried out within a short timescale. In addition to installing a new boiler, Gary took care to renew some rather untidy existing pipework, leaving me with a much more organised-looking boiler cupboard. In the course of the work he took care to ensure that carpets in my home were well protected, and arranged for prompt removal of the old boiler and associated material. Gary arrived within an hour of contacting him (impressive on the 2nd Jan).Problem identified immediately, no fuss, no humming and hawing and a competitive fee (no extra charge for the bank holiday).Competitive enough I booked him to service the boiler when he returned with the part to complete the job the next day! I’d been thinking about replacing an old Boilermate storage tank system with a new Combi boiler for some time due to the problems we’ve had with it over the past 20 years, and also because of the high heating bills. The decision was finally made at the start of the week when we stopped getting hot water so I contacted Gary through Mybuilder. He got back to me straight away that night, arranged a time to come out the next day and arrived on time as agreed. I know very little about boilers or plumbing work in general so i found it helpful that he took his time to explain all my options in detail, I did have a couple of other quotes from installers later that day who I felt were trying to give it a wee bit of the ‘hard sell’ and we’re overly expensive but I never once got that impression from Gary. He sent us various different options of boilers to choose from once he had worked things out a short while later as promised, including costs which were all very reasonable. The install went like clockwork, when Gary and his team arrived they were punctual, courteous and put in a shift working late on Saturday to get it finished before leaving the house exactly as they found it after clearing up all mess. All information was explained Re operation of the boiler, maintenance, thermostat controls and Gary registered the boiler for me later that night. Gary knows his stuff and is genuinely a very decent guy, I would have no hesitation of recommending him to anyone who needs work done.Greig

Had complete central heating system installed at the weekend and to say i was dreading it is an understatement. Gary assured me that everything would be ok and boy was he right! Couldnt believe how efficient and tidy he was, even to the point of hoovering each day before he left. He arranged for a joiner and an electrician who turned up on time, as did he. To the minute actually. He made me feel at ease and explained all the workings to me fully. Wish id had it done years ago but kept putting it off as i was apprehensive about the mess etc. extremely happy with service, price and finished job and would recommend him highly.
